So with both mine and Mike's Railworks folders corrupted (no kuju folder xD) Work on the NWCL is going to be slow, but there still should be a release of V1 in January!

Holidays and Video!

Well... I have some good news, and some more good news...

The good news is that Mike is now on his christmas holidays so he will have a lot more time to spend on the route.

But the other good news is that he has uploaded a video showing the trackwork and some scenary all the way to Llandudno!
Llandudno Extension Video!

I will be breaking up for the xmas holidays this Friday so full production should be in swing. Therefore there might be a sneaky Christmas Release ;)

Progress Report

Ok then, here's our first progress report.

Mike has laid down track as far as Llandudno and also redone models of the Conwy Bridge and the Conwy Arch. The scenary is planned to be updated as well in the coming days.

For the future the next thing we're going to do is to create the Conwy Valley line which snakes to the south of Llandudno Jct towards the mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog. Once the track is laid and finalised for that the Ffestiniog Railway will begin to be constructed.

While I'm working away on the FR, Mike will continue to build across the Welsh Coast, heading to Chester first and then to Holyhead.

This will take a long time to complete, but will be released in the following versions:
  • V1 - RBC3 Route: Conwy North Wales Released
  • V2 - Updated Scenary and route extension to Llandudno + Bug Fixes
  • V3 - Conwy Valley Line
  • V4 - FR and Route expansion to Bangor
  • V5 - FR and expansion to Abergele
  • V6 - FR and Holyhead
  • V7 -WHR and Flint
  • V8 - WHR and Chester
Wish us luck! xD

Welcome to the blog!

Hello and welcome to the North Wales Coast Line Route blog from me, Noakesy21!

Michael Dono and I (mostly Mike) are going to recreate this scenic route which will run from Chester to Holyhead, with the Conwy Valley Line and even the prestitigious Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways included!
Through this blog you might notice two fonts:
I (Noakesy) will write in this font
And I (Mike) will write in this font

We have done this to help mimize confusion with our blogging :P.
